I agree with you George...such a tragedy! I live in a predominately Amish farm community. A few years back a young Amish family was converting an "English" home that they had purchased into a "dutch house". That is done by removing all the electric and heating systems and installing propane and wood-burning stoves. In the process one of the stoves caught fire and quickly spread to adjoining flammable materials. 6 children died in that fire...a monster of a heartbreak for the whole community. There is no turning back on situations such as this..the Amish just go on praying to the Lord for the wisdom to understand and the strength for healing. The prayers from the whole community went out with them in loving support. Such a tragedy.
