Lost a friend recently who fought bc for 20 years. She as there for me when I had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and a bone marrow transplant. She had one 2 years prior. Her husband is a very special young man I worked with for several years. I did not and would not tell him I have recently been diagnosed with bc and scheduled for a mastectomy. I keep them and the children in my thoughts and prayers.
