You are so right Sharon. Middle School was a big jump. He wanted to stay a 5th grader. He was there since kinder & he was a morning reader for the kinder kids when in 5th grade. He knew everyone & the kids & teachers loved him.
Middle School is a different ball park. He said he wanted to stay little. But he will adjust. School started only 2 weeks ago.
