The doc says his enzymes are back on track so we're keepin him on his KD diet. His hips are jes krunk (ugh) and his shoulder on the side where he had cancer surgery is arthritic now too.
I'm taking him out for walks every night but the last few nights he jes plunks his butt down in the middle of it and refuses to go another step. Upon temptation with his favorite chewie, he'll carry right on like nothing's bothering him.
He's still interested in stuff but not at my side as much now....spends more time on his ortho mattress in the bedroom.
Am I facing the inevitable? The vet says I'll know, when he doesn't wanna do anything or isn't interested in anything. He's on pain meds but we all know how that is.....athritis is jes a real b$*ch to control. I don't want him to suffer.....any ideas, dog lovers?
I'm tryin not ta get all misty-eyed already. Cripes.
