It's so tough to lose friends, especially ones who are/were afflicted with the same disease. No one knows betta than friends like that the feeling of poignancy that time flies so fast and we're so vulnerable to loss.
You're only at round two honey. Certainly not round 15 with someone throwin in the towel. Things are far betta survival-wise than ever they were.
I wish there was something magic in words that would ease your grief. Please know that you are thought of more often than you can imagine and by people who would surprise you. You are well loved, as is your dear friend who's in the warm embrace of all our sistas/friends who've gone before us. 
Be at peace, honey. If not, no worries, it'll come. You'll one day be able to smile when you think of her rather than sigh with the burden of her goin away.
