It's always hard to lose a good friend...I, too, have lost many, and it never gets any easier. We miss them so very much...their smiles, their laughter...the good times we had. Memories are wonderful, but they don't satisfy.
It does drag you down, hon...grief does that. I'm truly sorry you're going through this. You may have bc for a second time, but that does not mean you'll be leaving any time soon...if at all. Sad glances from the others might just mean they want to share your current loss...and nothing else.
