I have been involved in a relationship with a sweet guy named Dan, who moved to Oregon to work and he was in an accident with a big truck that he backed into a big hole because his guides weren't watching closely enough. He hit his head on the back window, breaking the glass, he also hit the steel plate of the back of the truck that keeps the load from slipping through the window. And what is so hard now is that he does not remember me (amoung other things). He doesn't remember our relationship, he doesn't remember any of the time we've spent together out dancing, my trip to see him where we went to a casino and a night club and had a blast, all the nights we spent at his mom's playing dominoes and SkipBo flirting with each other before we got together. Nothing. I've completely lost him, and he's completely lost me. He doesn't recognize my cell number or my name, and my heart is crushed and it's not his fault. I am just venting and grieving, thanks for letting me do that here. I did some research and what I learned is that he could be suffering from retrograde amnesia. He can recall the accident but has lost a chunk of his memory. I called his mom and she confirmed he doesn't remember me so if he's not remembering things in a week or so, she is making a trip down to take him to the doctor. I'll keep you posted on this.
