Hey Hopey... I love Americans and always have. I went to kindergarten in New Jersey and did my masters in DC/baltimore. And I've always had a deep and delicious soft spot for your country and your people.
You can still be happy and proud to be American... problems are because of leaders who do not function under moral principals. This has been the history of all humans... our nations decline as the quality of our leaders decline (you should see the 'gem' Canadians just elected prime minister).
But we know its not you Hopey, or the gazillion other good American folk just like you.
And a lot anti american sentiment has just been sour grapes and envy.
Not me, love you guys!!
