My eyes are screwy too...not trifocals...yet...but bifocals...courtesy of chemo thank you very much... 
Been nine years now so I'm used to them, but I remember feeling the same way when it first happened...lousy. I'm sure trifocals are in my future at some point...do they have quadfocals I wonder?...if so, I'm bound to get them too....bleh...
Seeing is good though...hugs to you, hon...life surely isn't for the faint-hearted, and the way I figure it is we've all got Purple Hearts waitin' for us on the other side....BIG ONES...
