It's never easy!!
I had bifocals befo chemo and got no glasses but the walmart ones occasionally since (guess I didn't need 'em that bad? heh, you should see the lines in my face from squintin'!
). Can still read a book but night drivin' scares me witless so I'm fixin' to head down the same road, honey.
Got an older friend who had the spiral surgery to fix his eyes (what's that called? starts with laser somethin'...... there ya go memory! ![]()
). Anyway, it's amazin', he needs no glasses at all at 75! Man, I'm tempted.....by the time I'm nearly blind, it might actually be affordable!
Listen, it's perfectly normal to miss our bits and pieces. Our youth was wasted.....all that glorious color (I miss that!), the night vision, the intense acuity. And I never once appreciated it. Shame on me.
Really feelin' ya girlfriend.
On the plus side, take a look down, beanie. My FIL is gonna hafta have his toes amputated this week. They taken him apart piece by piece. I think I'd rather go this way than his way.
