Because I've been mourning the same thing! I haven't went to glasses (other than for reading when I'm desperate!) but I can't hardly read the phone book, my bible, a prescription bottle, I just hate my eyes to go bad. But it's all a process of getting older, so I'm dealing along with you. But we do mourn our parts of youth when it's slowly leaving us. Love, Vernie
