thanks, Barbs ... mom died of colon cancer(her sisters were the ones with the bc), she was 75 and had been recovering from brain surgery during the last 7 years(I'd taken care of her) before she passed. The colon cancer didn't present in a normal manner and we didn't actually catch it until it was too late. (As often as her(our) doc reassures me, I will always feel some responsible for that. I was so wrapped up in her daily care that I didn't realize she was so ill until it was really apparent ...sigh ... favorite color: blue, I think ... she wasn't the kind of woman that ever cared much about such things ... she'd had a difficult life (my dad had an alcohol problem) and she spent so much of her time worryin' over him. She had a wicked sense of humor when she could relax. I do miss her.
As to me, I'm NED so far. Just dealing with life after chemo ... that stuff just plain ages you, I swear. Nope, I don't have any siblings .. just my own little family .. husband and son. Thanks for asking.
