The loss of a dear furry friend is a devastating one...I've been there too and it hurts terribly. So many don't understand the grief, but those of us who've loved them know...there's no love like that of a pet...it's unconditional and impossible to live without. The silence is deafening.
You can only take it one minute at a time. I found that reading books on pet loss helped me quite a bit after I lost my Arthur (who was 17...very old for a dog). You can look on Amazon or even in a local bookstore. There are many out there. I also found a web site....In Memory of Pets...that helped. There are message boards there where you can talk about your pet to people who understand, and you can leave a tribute to Suki.
