Thanks for your kind words. I know it was the right thing but it doesn't make it easier.
Suki had renal failure and arthritis. It helps to feed fish and chicken apparently as these are good for the kidneys. If Gully is on Metacam please be careful because it can accelerate renal failure (or so my vet told me). I had to take Suki off Metacam about a year and a half ago when her kidney problems were diagnosed.
I don't post here much any more but I do pop in every week to check the boards and see what's happening so my heart goes out to you too. You made me feel a little better though (((((Hope))))
