Piankeshaw Trails Educational Park, Inc. has formed a board of directors and has submitted its application to the IRS to become a Non profit 501C-3 organization. We are awaiting a reply which could come anytime . Piankeshaw Trails Educational Park is playing host this fall to 12 Field trips 22 outreach programs in the classroom around Indiana and Ohio so far and one special event. These range from 9 students to 125 students plus teachers and parents. Eastern Greene 5th Graders came to the park and enjoyed a terrific experience in the 18th century Tuesday, October 7th and reported back to the school that it was fantastic. We have heard such wonderful feedback from students and teachers as well as parents as we push forward in developing this unique educational park here in the beautiful hills of southern Indiana. and schedule a special outing for your school home school group, scout troop or church group. We love to educate and entertain young folks and give them a special feeeling about history and nature.
