Posted by judah enterprises on 7/25/2005, 6:55 pm Ministree is looking for 2 female soprano lead singers to replace Nekita Ferrell, of Buffalo, New York who has left the group in order to devote her time to baby daughter , Hailey . We wish Mr. and Mrs. Farrell and Hailey all the best and thank Nekita for her great contribution to Ministree over the past 2 years. She will be missed. Ministree is seeking female lead vocalists; aged 21 and older. This lead soprano must be willing to rehearse on a regular basis, travel with Ministree, their band and staff for engagements, devote time and effort into developing Ministree's music and their mission. She must not only love the Lord, but be guided by Him in her everyday life and have already accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She must be currently affiliated with a church and be a member in good standing. Candidates must also live within an hour or an hour and a half's drive from the Pittsburgh area . First round auditions will be held via appointment only and will be conducted in 15 minute intervals with the last few minutes including an informal interview with Ministree . Audition requirements and driving directions will be sent when the appointment is made . Those selected will be notified by phone ; and those not selected will be notified by mail. Candidates will be selected based upon the following criteria: Ability to lead a song Ministree is also scheduled to appear on GNTV in Baltimore, Maryland, fall of this year and on the Gospel Vibe TV show in California in the Spring of 2006. Ministree is being backed by gospel music DJ's in many major cities in the United States and has conducted on air live interviews and are scheduled for several more throughout the end of this year. Ministree's music is currently being played in Houston, Baltimore, Boston, New York, London and the United Kingdom and other cities in the country in anticipation of their CD release. Ministree is currently affiliated with the WomenNPower East Coast tour which allows them to travel to major cities throughout the United States, to perform and promote their music. The gospel group Ministree, of Pittsburgh, Pa. will be holding auditions on Friday, August, 5th at 6:00 p.m. at Solid Rock Foundation Ministries in Carnegie Pa.
· Ability to minister the gospel during a performance and to minister at the altar
· Ability to harmonize
· Ability to sing alto and or tenor parts as well, if necessary
· Ability to learn each part of a song independently
· Appearance and stage presence
· Ability to sing various styles of music (all gospel, just different genres)
