Genevieve, I think you misread the post - neither NCNotary nor PAW/FL are associated with Fidelity National in the way you think - they have no connection to Fidelity as a principal or an employee. NCNotary did an assignment for them as a Notary Signing Agent.
You should contact your state's Attorney General and possibly your state's Consumer Protection Dept and/or the Banking Department. They may be able to help you -or at least take your information and the facts of what happened to you for their own records. It sounds like you were lucky and caught it in time to stop payment and recoup most of your money, but if you've lost any money at all, those departments may be able to get that back for you.
