Had a signing recently where borrower was required to sign with four names.
Example: Douglas Rice Edward Jones. Driver's license had only "Rice Edward." So I used two credible identifying witnesses as allowed by CA law. However, SS had sent another notary out previously (borrowers didn't sign cos of dispute with HUD-1.) But that notary had no problem with his ID, they said. So I guess two out of four names is good enough... not sure where it says that in CA statute...
Jeez, makes me wonder what we're here for.
