Craig, I am right on subject and on point, the main point. I answered the original posters question - will the HL-2140 work for our print jobs? YES...I have one and use it successfully - that's the bottom line. I also suggested that it be the secondary printer and not the primary one. You seem to be stuck on ancillary points - this 1k cartridge. I pointed out that there is more to this printer's output than the 1k cartridge, the higher yield cartridge and I also talked about how it performed - it is better than the cheap throwaway you're making it out to be. I hear lots about HP printers, some good and many bad too. It really boils down to personal preference - like cars. Some people swear by American cars. Others, you couldn't pay them to take an American car - personal preference.
