In addition to the PCL issue, it's not intended for high volume.
It's cheap up front, but like all Brother products, it's the back end that's going to kill you with big consumable costs.
The specs state 1000 pages per cartridge, and 10k per drum. So for every 4-5 sets of loan docs, you need a new print cartridge. Perfect for the student.... terrible for a business.
Another caveat, you will need to switch back and forth, letter/legal trays (plus the cost of that legal tray, as it does not come with the machine). IMHO, nothing less than a two tray machine is worth my time.
If budget is an issue, look for a used business class machine capable of 10k monthly print cycles, and cartridges capable of similar numbers.
