My experience is they can be a nightmare to work for - with the notable exception that everybody I've dealt with there is very nice and polite and helpful. But the main problem is super late docs - if they ever show up at all. Which may or may not be their fault - but the lender's. On 2 occasions, I turned down other signings because I was waiting for docs that never appeared. Now, I just assume they're not going to show up - and if they actually do, I resked with the borrower. My last NSC borrower had five reskeds cos of missing docs.
Also, NCS will schedule e-docs with you, then the day of the signing tell you they are cutting your fee $35!(print fee) because you have to pick up your docs at Fed Ex. (Whoever charged $35 to print docs?!) A complete rip off. Not to mention an extra trip to Fed Ex, where you have to wait cos docs are never ready on time, despite their agreement with NSC. Now, if I take the signing I say but not if Fed Ex is printing... other than that, they're very nice people to work with!
