--Previous Message-- : I personally don't : understand why they need things faxed : that haven't even been signed, except : that they must start processing before : they get the package back. They want the entire package faxed back after it's been signed. Why? I have no idea. Maybe ServiceLink works differently than any other title company I've worked with (which wouldn't surprise me), but nothing is done until the expiration of the rescission period, with a possible exception of sending funding docs to the lender. I guess they (SL) figures we don't know what documents they need, even when they list them, so getting it all back means they'll get what they want. Or maybe, their own schedulers and closers don't know what documents to tell us they need. I personally have a problem faxing back a whole package for a closing on Friday afternoon or evening or any time on Saturday. That cuts into my time. (Unless, of course, they are willing to compensate me for my time and effort. Which probably won't happen!)
