Patrick called me, I accepted a signing, immediately checked RTC's reputation (I don't need an 'expanded base' of THIS) and immediately called Patrick back to cancel, no qualms about it either.
He didn't answer the phone, and no v/m. If there was any benefit of doubt to lose, he lost it there. So, I e-mailed him, adding "CANCELLED" in subject line. Then, e-mailed again, sending him a copy of the complaints against him from N/R, so there'd be no doubts about my reasons. No responses, but of course.
Later that evening, the borrower from that CANCELLED signing called me to ask me "did you cancel because you're not qualified to do this?" ROFLMAO! Smooth, Patrick - what a passive/aggressive move. I didn't say anything to this gentleman other than I was "unable" to accept this assignment.
The NEXT day, I got a call from the title company wondering what was up with that signing ...to THEM, I shared all the facts.
I am now on their direct-hire list.
