Linda and I are both in Florida. FL does not require fingerprinting for a notary commission, and DOJ/FDLE background checks are done randomly on applicants. For any license issued by the state (Mortgage Broker, Lender, Broker Business, etc.) a fingerprint card/electronic scan is required for FBI check as well as DOJ/FDLE check. (FDLE = Florida Department of Law Enforcement)
