Posted by GYN Founder I suspect that "the brown dry stuff" is dead tissue. When you menstruate, the thicker tissue layer of your uterus called the endometrium sloughs off. This tissue is then excreted from your body along with blood. If you have serioius concerns about the soreness and itchness that is associated with this particular discharge, please talk to a school nurse or doctor.
