I was like that. The perfect little girl (I still am in my parents eyes; they live in denial, I swear it).
I'd talk to my guidance couselor if I were you. They really do give a lot of good advice, and they won't flip out so much if you tell them your contemplating not going.
As for your parents; If you do choose not to go, tell them anyway. I'd rather they be angry with me than have to live up to their standards, when I don't want to.
That's all I can really say. Please, do talk to your counselor. It helps a lot!
