Posted by GYNFounder It seems like your family has a "hearing" problem. Your family may think that you are inferior for some reason. Ie, the girl, the youngest, etc. For starters, you can try to get them to understand that they are not listening to you. For example, you can always say "Did you hear what I just said?" or "Do you understand what I just said?" You have to be assertive. Get them to repeat to you what you had previously said. If he or she didn't hear it, ask them again. Ask them to repeat it again. This annoying repertoire can help them learn to listen to you more. If he or she doesn't understand you, ask them what he or she doesn't understand. Try to explain things better for them. Most importantly, be assertive and be heard.
