1. You're right, the old girlfriend needed to have her eyes checked. His feet are beautiful. Although, I have to admit I've never seen any part of him that wasn't beautiful. He's absolutely right about cargo pants, too. Covering that beautiful body with such baggy pants would be a crime!
2. Good point about the focus of the interview; I'm guessing this is because it was for InStyle Magazine. That's not a magazine likely to ask about his philosophy of government or his thoughts on global warming. When I first read this article years back, I was struck by how intimate, almost invasive, the questions were--focused on his body, as you say. Knowing what we know about Jeremy's wish for privacy, however, perhaps he found this type of question easier to answer than questions about his personal life, his friends and his family?
3. He did a good job fending her off with amusing answers, didn't he? And I can imagine that you had trouble understanding his jokey response about being naked from the neck down! Humor doesn't always come across well on the written page; facial expressions and tone of voice are lost. Those are so important with someone like our guy, who's so expressive. And I think humor is the hardest thing to "get" in another language. At least it has been for me.
P.S. Please don't worry about your English, Martina. I'm always impressed by how well you express yourself. If I had to write something in German I'd be limited to very simple thoughts like, "Jeremy pretty," or "I like interview." And maybe not even that!
