The show follows the intrigues, love lives and machinations behind the great events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. Sheridan plays the role of the Prime Minister's aide in three episodes of the new drama which will be premiering on 4th November 2016. He said:
"I was originally cast in one episode, but as it transpired, they were still writing the scripts and I ended up being in three episodes, playing the aide to Winston Churchill (John Lithgow) and also Anthony Eden (Jeremy Northam).
"We filmed scenes at Borehamwood Film Studios and on various locations including The Imperial War Museum at Duxford and The Reform Club in Pall Mall. It was an amazing experience to be part of such a huge production, and I can't wait to see it when it comes out."
The series has been reported to be Netflix's most expensive drama to date.
