Just back from the cinema, and really enjoyed this film - an old fashioned spy drama, with beautiful filming. JNs role was key to the plot, but the director gave him very little screen time
, however, when he was on screen he looked great and had several close ups and even a few lines!! He was convincing, but I think his character needed a bit of back story ...I wonder if JN originally was meant to get more screen time as his name appeared up front on its own yet the role did not seem to justify the billing
.Still, great to see him on the big screen
, and of the 3 films I think the style of filming close ups and (as Kath said), everyone always talking about Jeremy's character, means it seemed more central to the film.
