I heartily recommend Enigma. Jeremy's brilliant in it and I like the movie very much. A thinking person's wartime thriller.
I'd also recommend The Golden Bowl. JN's beard took me a while to get used to, but now I quite like it. Also a good Merchant-Ivory film.
Don't overlook Cypher. Jeremy's in just about every frame and he gives a terrific performance. It's a blend of sci fi and thriller with twists and turns galore.
I discovered JN via Piece of Cake, a British TV (6-part) miniseries from 1988 about WWII fighter pilots. He's a mere baby in it and he's absolutely adorable! You can see our guy at the beginning of his career. It's also a wonderful, well-made series.
I have to admit that I own most of Jeremy's work on DVD because I rewatch them from time to time, even the ones like Emma where I can practically recite the lines by heart! Enigma and Gosford Park are two movies that get better the second or even third time around.
