Set in Edwardian England where upper lips are always stiff and men from the Colonies are not entirely to be trusted, Fisk senior has little time or affection for his son, but when the pair visit an eccentric Indian, they begin a journey that eventually allows the old man to find his heart. One of the great Peter O'Toole's final performances, and the stand-out hit of the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.

We are a film Society here in Parsons Green, founded to create a local space for independent cinema. The Society is a place to screen independent film, classics, documentaries, foreign language films and much more. We believe the cinema experience should be comfortable, engaging, and should definitely include a bar!
PGFS launched a hugely successful first run of films in October 2014, and we are back by popular demand this year with another diverse and exciting line up.
We are coming towards the end of our Spring programme, but we will be returning from September through December, running twice monthly Wednesday evening screenings.
Help us build the Society by supporting our upcoming film nights, sharing with friends, and commenting on the films we're showing. We would love to hear your suggestions on films you'd like to see.

Our venue for the 2015 film screenings is the fantastic St Dionis Upper Hall on Parsons Green Lane. In the long term, we are aiming to establish a fully independent, luxury, boutique cinema experience, open to memberships, that will become an iconic part of the Parsons Green landscape.
All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt. (Charles M. Schulz)
