Oh, yes! That scene in the restaurant is great, with Kevin having to kowtow to Ruby but trying to make it seem like he's still in control. You can almost see Jeremy squirm in his seat! And at the end, the scene on the street when Kevin exchanges the kid for the disc, is good also. Kevin leans into the window and says "So everything's good" or something to that effect, and Ruby just looks at him and replies "Is it?". That look by GCS is chilling and JN's face is wonderful. You can tell Kevin's thinking about his future and
not seeing good things. For me, it's the only time the role seems to fit JN. I think for once Jeremy's expressive face was a drawback.
As for his scenes with Sharon Stone, I'm not quite sure what to make of them. I think they work for the most part.
I hadn't thought about JN being intimidated by SS, but that makes sense.
