You nailed it, Mariela. So much showiness and so little substance. Too much focus on WHO is in the movie rather than what makes it worth watching.
Granted I love a fun, mindless "popcorn movie", but there really, really really needs to be more effort made to greenlight substantial scripts with heart and smarts.
