No way! You know, with the relatively small Orwell books I always sort of urging my hubby to read them and, lo and behold, thatīs nuts to him! I love to hear him now and then chuckling, for example when Orwell is describing the chaotic warfare and armament of (Spanish) men or other hair-raising and senseless aktivities. Of course his writing is about serious topics but Orwell has the skill to make it bearable with his sense of dark humour.
