Hay Fever isn't the only one though still doing deals - yesterday I bought tickets for the Duchess of Malfi at the Old Vic for just £15 each - from Noel Coward to John Webster 
Also, at the Noel Coward theatre they seem to gather all the audience together so that there is still a good atmosphere even if the house isn't full - but maybe it is worse for the actors looking out from the stage than for the audience looking in
