A lost cause
Jeremy Hunt, the Culture Secretary, may be doing his best to win the luvvie vote as he carouses with British hopefuls at Oscar parties in Hollywood at the expense of taxpayers, but Jeremy Northam would appear to be a lost cause. Asked which public figures are most over-rated, the actor replied: “Pretty much the whole of the current Cabinet.”
Mercifully for Hunt’s namesake, Northam couldn’t make it to Hollywood – he is appearing in Hay Fever in the West End.
