nothing sucks more than what happened to you Jake... i wish we had been as close with you in the end as we were in the beginning... i really regret a lot of things... i really wish i had been home when you called me the day before you died... you probably were calling everyone to say goodbye but i was at work then i went to Tara's that night for her birthday party so i missed when you called my house that afternoon... you were supposed to come to Tara's party that night you dick... i can't even express how much i wish Tara and I would've gone down and picked you up and made you come to the party with all of us... you might have reconsidered if you knew how many of us cared about and loved you man...
i saw the Foo Fighters live last night for the first time in Binghamton and I cried when they played "Marigold" because i remember you liked that song and would cover it way back in the day and how i wished you were there to see this show.
and i really lost it during "My Hero..." god i wish you were still around... all the songs i've written since you died i want so badly for you to hear... you really left us all in a mess when you died dude... i miss you every day...
