hi. My husband and I are looking for a pair of ferrets and have narrowed it down to 2 sets. One is 1 1/2 and the other is 3. I wondered if 3 year old ferrets were too old to adopt b/c they have such a short life span. I mean, I hate for them to start having health probs immediately. Any advise greatly appreciated.
