Posted by Mary Ferrets also don't like corner litter pans. They like to be able to get in the pan and stretch out when they go. You will be much better off if you have a rectangular or square pan - try the small cat pan from Walmart. FYI - the bigger the litter pan, the better they will use it. Ferrets are notorious for having accidents (even when fairly well litter-trainged). Some ferrets don't chew on cords, so it may not be an issue. If it is, then you can try spraying bitter apple on them (reapplication may be needed if your ferret likes to chew). You can also buy things at a hardware store to thread your cords through to keep them out of harm's way. I would recommend getting Ferrets for Dummies by Kim Schilling before you do anything else - it's a great book! Check out the link for Ferret Central, as well. Good luck! Mary Link: Ferret Central

Ferrets require air flow, which aquariums don't have, so you can't use them for ferrets. Try www.martinscages.com - the pvc coated ones only. They are a dream to clean, long-lasting and don't retain smell or rust (like the galvanized stell ones).
