The black face normally is the teacher edition- it has a link going to an overhead porjector (official name is:TI View Screen Panel, and also one that hooks up to a moniter:TI Presenter) There is NO difference in RAM and Archive (memory.) Neither is faster than the other. There are some speacial SE's that were avaliable and had a different color plare- i believe those were blue/sparkles.
