I started with Barley cereal because it is not as constipating as the rice. I just mixed it with my breast milk. Make it on the runny size. Sometimes it is the thickness the baby is not used to. Being abel to pour it off the spoon into the baby's moth ight make her take it better. then make it thicker as days go on. But the first time she might only take a 1 baby sppon full or 2. so it does take time. If she is doing good on your breast milk then wait till 6 months & try again,
