Was your daughter adopted in Kansas? Contact the Courthouse in Topeka and she if they have the adoption records they will at least tell you that. They will direct you on how to get the records. And ask them about the place that took care of the adoption. You may be able to start there. My brother and I inquired about my father's adoption in the courthouse and thy told us they had the file but they could not show that to us, we then went to the judges office that handles the childrens adoption and placement and he got the file and gave us some info.
