Thanks to Jim Rizzo for coming down and towing me and Alex Moore up. Thanks to Rick Lafford for coming down and towing so Jim could instruct the Ruskauffs. Got towed up at about 2:00 PM to the west of the DSV where the lift and Cu looked good. Nothing happening there, so off to the east of the DSV with the wind hitting the ridge. West wind was kicking thermals off the ridge. Circled up to 5500 ft in a fine thermal. Lift then became a bit disorganized. It startd to over develop and it looked like we might get a small storm out of the northwest. The overdevelopment cleared and the lift just stopped. You could soar the ridge east ridge with little thermals getting kicked up but no consistent lift. It got hot and I got tired so I landed after 2 hours. Enjoyed the day and am looking forward to a good day Saturday.
