...'cause if you could get a TP, you could grab thermals off the ridge and get to at least 6,000' AGL, re the latest sounding. What better way to cool off on the second day of summer, when KDSV is sweltering, and you float at about 65 F ambient enjoying the scenery? Most delightful. Make sure you have an unusually robust vent system though, there will be few if any clouds to shade you. Or, go sans canopy altogether. Could go sans clothes for that matter, who's gonna see ya?
