The trim spring arrived from Centrair, France, on Wednesday. The trim spring has been installed and KG has been test flown for 4.9 hours. The trim works very well and the dynamic range is well distributed over the full range when I fly the ship. For a 165lb pilot I recommend take off with the trim set in the third or fourth notch back from full forward and lift off with neutral stick.
The audio speaker for the primary Borgelt stopped working during the test flight, possible loose connections which will be checked on Saturday.
The ship urgently needs to be waxed. Volunteers to help with this task are encouraged.
