Nice conditions report. Would have been a diamond day, except for the huge patches of overdevelopment. Trying to predict % cumulus cloud cover is even harder than predicting average thermal strength...the two are of course related, albeit in ways not completely understood. |

: had a couple good flights. I had a 2 hour
: flight to 5500 ft, took 30 minutes to go
: from 2600 MSL to 3000ft, stronger and wider
: above (2K avg), nothing out west to Nunda,
: great day at 5000ft to the south near
: Cohocton and Naples, cold air came in around
: 3PM and everything got weak (1K avg)- temp
: dropped 10F degs in 30 min. Jack, Bradley,
: Cline, Jake & Riz, all flew too. Thanks
