I broke the Right rear Blanik Canopy hinge when I tried to get out the last time yesterday, Friday the 13th!.
Rick Roman will order a new hinge. I will attempt to TIG weld the part and repair it as soon as I can.
DO NOT Open the Canopy as it may do damage to the other hinge.
The aircraft has a grounding tag on the stick, a writeup in the maintenance book in the aircraft, and Rizzo viewed the damage.
Sorry.. we got 10 instruction flights in it Friday!
