Last weekend was pretty good, and even had wave to 8,000' to offer to Mark Wasserbauer, who shared it with its discoverer, Jake Smith. It will henceforth be known as the Smitty Wave. Cline, Gilbert Evenski Rizzo Ruskauff Smitty Kastner Wasserbauer Zabinski and Davenport (almost) flew this week end. Roman attended to kibbitz, which he does well, and Bill Volkel joined the club. Welcome Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had two new 3 flight members join, Danielelle Cadili and Attilio Mirijello now live in or near Dansville and work at Foster Wheeler plant refurbishing trains I think.
We had WINCH ACTIVITY thanks to Doug Bradley :o). The machine works the nuts. Rizzo and Gilbert launched 2 times with conservative attitudes but still got to 1500 AGL in the 12-20Kt wind from thenorth with DA at 600'. Very good weekend!
