Both Chucks and Doug Bradley have been terrific contributors to and about this project. CZ did circulate a pic of 22A's fuselage after paint was applied. It looks brand new and is a "virgin" restoration of the 1-26A. It will float like a dream, but theoretically has less penetration than the modified 02A. If you want "penetration" wear a parachute!

: Today the 1-26 wings went back to Perry Warsaw
: Airport for rigging and covering. Rick
: Lafford and I removed the N3802A from the
: 1-26 trailer, assembled it and put it back
: in the hangar and also repacked the hangar.
: We then put N3822A wings back on the trailer
: for transport to Perry Warsaw Airport.
:
: Rick re-rigged the 1-26 trailer so that it
: required only two bolts to securely fasten
: the wings to the trailer without need for
: any other straps or rigging. Thank you Rick
: Lafford for your invaluable help and
: expertise in getting this chore done!
:
: Once back at Perry Warsaw Airport, Charlie
: McInerny, Don Drake (a Perry/Warsaw builder
: and pilot) and I removed the wings from the
: trailer and then assembled them to to the
: fuse for rigging of the spoiler cables and
: aileron pushrods (yet to be done).
: Covering of the wings will not oocur until
: Charlie McInerny returns from his, well
: deserved, one month Florida vacation in
: mid-April.
